Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until the year 2019. She was a senior associate of the Hudson Institute. It is an think tank for conservatives.
Prior to her posts in the Department of State, she was an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert was also acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy in the Trump administration between March and October 2018. Nauert was appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
